Holding an executive role in a leading London-based Organisation Development Consultancy Ruth gained insight and first-hand experience of the challenges facing other leaders. She also worked with clients to deepen their understanding of the business issues they faced and, where appropriate, designed tailored solutions to meet their needs. Her leadership roles included the development and implementation of a new brand identity and the creation of a business strategy for the delivery of training events to a broader market.
Ruth’s earlier experience was as an IT consultant. Managing the interface between end-users and technical people, she developed commercial sensitivity and a preference for a pragmatic approach geared towards business results. As an IT specialist she worked in the manufacturing industry and the financial services sector.
Ruth works on supporting organisations, teams and individuals in understanding and responding to the human aspects of change. This might be through facililtation of team events, designing and running training events, or one-to-one coaching. Her colleagues value her insight and ability to cut through distractions to the core issues that need to be addressed. This is enhanced further by both her careful directness and willingness to support.
As well as traditional coaching, Ruth offers 1 day 1:1 coaching intensives, working with individuals and small teams to develop their personal and professional vision, and then deciding on the first steps towards achieving the vision.
